2023 Barrel 4 Gruner Veltliner, dry, 12.5% vol., Ott, ORGANIC

AT-402 The name Barrel 4 is a tribute to the Ott family`s legendary barrel number 4, in which the Veltliner was still aged in wood. Today, however, the Veltliner comes from the steel tank and is fun from the start - the typical apple tones meet white pepper and a finely spicy exotic fruit cocktail. In the mouth, it is juicy and fruity - subtly mineral and with an elegant acid structure. The best way to enjoy the Gruner Veltliner is with hearty snacks, such as a sausage and ham platter with farmhouse bread. It also goes excellently with white meat in a pepper cream sauce.
