More than 50 varieties of olives are grown in Greece. The most important growing areas are on the islands of Peloponnese, Crete and Lesbos. The most famous varieties in cultivation include Adramytiani, Doppia, Kalamata, Kolovi, Koroneiki, Karydolia, Manaki, Psiloelia, Prassinolia and Tsounati. The Kalamaties variety is one of the best with a sweet-bitter and aromatic taste. The varieties Kolovi, Ladolia and Adramitiani are predominantly grown on Lesbos. And are characterized by a certain spiciness in taste. The Koroneiki variety accounts for a good 85% of the yields on Crete and produces an excellent olive oil.

Psaltiras.
Premium oil from Mani in the southern Peloponnese. Nico Psaltiras only uses Koroneiki olives from his own cultivation and those of his neighbors, friends and relatives. The aroma contains grassy notes and a pleasant spiciness.

Andriotis.
Greek olive oil cuvee from the varieties Kolovi (80%) and Adramitiani (20%). Green-gold, medium fruity with aromas of fresh herbs and great harmony between moderate spiciness and subtle bitter notes.
