Regional Co

Vicente Navarro Navarro founded Regional Co. in 1921 in Novelda, a small town in the Alicante region of Spain. From the beginning, the company was dedicated to supplying spices and saffron in large quantities. At this time, trade in these products was continually increasing and they were imported both from the Spanish region of La Mancha (mainly saffron) and from the countries of the Far East. Thanks to the young entrepreneur`s business trips, the company achieved top positions among the diverse spice trading companies of the time in the first few years and developed into one of the industry`s icons in the following years. Years later, the company passed through inheritance to the next generation of the family, but due to a lack of experience and, above all, because of the start of the Spanish Civil War, only one of the sons continued the family business and mainly focused on it, being heavily involved in the marketing of saffron to this day .
Two years ago, ninety-two years after the company was founded, the Regional Co brand and logo were reclaimed by the grandson of Vicente Navarro and the family business was restored. However, this time the brand will be characterized by a new and modern character, completely different from the companies that already offer spices on the market.
The logo was upgraded to a newfangled and contemporary version, while retaining the sun and therefore the essence at the foundation of the company.

The story of an enterprising great-grandfather and his past as a spice, tea and coffee merchant at the beginning of the 20th century is today the inspiration for his great-grandchildren Ana and Luis Miguel Mira Boyer, their successful spice business Regional Co. in Novelda, near Alicante to be open to the world and taste. The spices come from all over the world and are selected according to their quality. The family`s credo is international cuisine and offering the right spice for every curiosity.
