    Your Champanger story

    As early as the sixteenth century, the BEAUFORT family produced wine in Champagne. In 1900, Marcellin began marketing his still red and white wines from Bouzy and won several medals at competitions in Epernay and Paris. In 1929 Marcellin began producing champagne with his son Herbert. Today, his son Henry and his masters Hugues and Ludovic traditionally produce about 130,000 bottles of champagne and Bouzy Rouge (still the red wine). They cultivate the vineyards with an area of 13 ha, of which 10 ha are planted with Pinot Noir and 3 ha with Chardonnay. Our Bouzy Rouge is always stored in barrels for two years. This limited ruby wine is widely known and popular.

    Our family home was founded in 1973 by Cristian and Josette Senez. The shared passion and the friendly family spirit are now passed on from generation to generation. This passion is the love of a good job and the development of great wines from Champagne. A beginner wine grower with a passion for the world of wine, Cristian and his wife Josette moved heaven and earth to develop their own champagne in 1973 and build their brand. This passion was passed on to her daughter Angelique with her husband Frederic, who from year to year developed the best wines with consistent qualities, flavors and values. Today, they immortalize their knowledge and love for their champagne to their two daughters, Melanie and Marion. The house is located in a vineyard that is typical of champagne. A gift of nature associated with the talent of men. The entire vineyard, with an area of 21 hectares, is planted with noble grape varieties, Pinot Noir, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay. These are always characterized by care and guarantee high quality wines. They differ from other houses in the production of wines from Pinot Blanc, a rare grape variety in Champagne. Step by step to this day you underline the qualities of champagne. Respect for tradition does not mean rejection of the modern age. To improve our production techniques, we use state-of-the-art tools and machines. We develop our quality production in oenological plants where modern stainless steel containers and traditional vertical presses are mixed. Long-standing vintages, mastery of winemaking without malolactic fermentation and the production of a bleeding rose with captivating aromas are the symbols and the signature of the house.
