A Riesling from Wiltinger steep slopes of the Braunfels site with a dry flavor profile. One almost thinks one is biting into the dark brown slate that characterizes this location. First, as always, a subtle scent of smoky mineral and white pepper - that`s what slate smells like! After a few minutes in the large glass, this terroir-influenced wine then develops noble, earthy aromas with the finest nuances of blueberries, juniper and sloe. With its wonderfully demanding minerality, aromatically intensely reminiscent of iodine, the Braunfels Riesling is a perfect accompaniment to food. A noble wine in a noble robe!
