Acquerello Carnaroli Risotto Rice - Reserve, aged 7 years

The 7-year-old Acquerello Carnaroli rice reserve is an innovation from Piedmont, where this incomparable risotto rice is cultivated on fertile soils. The exceptionally long storage of the Acquerello allows an enrichment process in the rice, so that the rice strength reaches an unsurpassable balance in the individual rice grains. This increases the cooking time - compared to the 1 year aged Acquerello - light: risotto preparation time about 20 minutes and about 16 minutes normal cooking time. The quality of consistency and the absorption capacity for cooking liquids is also increased. This risotto rice tastes perfectly in dishes that are served at room temperature, such as rice salads.
