2016 Nuits-St.-Georges, dry, 13% vol., Bouchard

Nuits Saint Georges is considered the capital and commercial center of the Cotes de Nuits. The municipality has no Grand Cru, but with 40, by far the most Premier Cru sites of all wine-growing municipalities in Burgundy. The wines from are known for their powerful, muscular nature and slightly fleshy aroma. Roasted aromas, berries and spices on the palate, full-bodied with a long finish. All Village wines from Bouchard mature for 12 months in barriques, 30% of which are first use.
