2022 Philipps Rose, dry, 11.5% vol., Philipp Kuhn, vegan

The fruity cuvée of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Blaufränkisch, Pinot Noir and St. Laurent impresses in the glass with an intense scent of wild strawberries, cherries and cassis. Philipps Rose is an absolutely light summer classic packed with mild acidity. Thanks to the gentle Saigner process, in which the grapes and mash are sieved and not pressed, this rose is significantly more intense and stronger in color and aroma than a conventional rose. With the right gut feeling and unique craftsmanship, Philipp Kuhn succeeds in making 100% great dry wines in the Palatinate with the help of his philosophy of 50% white and 50% red.
