2021 Chardonnay, dry, 12.5% vol., Schneider

The grapes for this Chardonnay come mostly from high, cool limestone sites south of Ellerstadt in the Palatinate. These are ideal conditions for late ripening. A wonderfully balanced, elegant Chardonnay is created in combination with grapes harvested when they are very ripe from lower-lying sites. Lots of yellow but also exotic fruits on the nose. Lychee and apple aromas and subtle banana notes on the palate. A successful Chardonnay with pleasant acidity and a long finish.
