Nose: Complex with almond and port wine aromas, fading into honey, liquorice, Sichuan pepper and praline. Palate: Fresh, greasy and spicy combine pepper and candied apricots. Finish: Very delicate notes of jasmine, vanilla and roasted hazelnuts. Round, accessible and relatively undiscovered are cognacs from the Bons Bois. Vallein Tercinier captures the character of the `Cru` with Cognac Bons Bois 1990. After 31 years in French oak barrels, the noble brandy seduces with a complex nose, a fruity-fresh, yet spicy palate and a delicate, nutty finish. It was brut de fut`, i.e. straight from the barrel with 42.9% vol. bottled. Only 571 bottles were produced.
