The recipe for BUMBU The Original dates back to the 16th and 17th centuries: Sailors and merchants mixed Caribbean fruits and spices with their rum and called it `Bumbu`. Spirit made from 100% rum. Various fruits and spices are added and matured in bourbon casks for up to 15 years. Rich and complex aromas of Madagascar vanilla, soft caramel and oak. Notes of cinnamon, roasted nuts, banana and allspice on the palate. A perfect composition, with a mild sweetness and a light, soft finish.
