Esclavo XO Cask Rum, 42% vol., Dominican Republic

The scent has a sweet and sour note combined with a hint of coconut and beeswax. Full-bodied taste with an oily texture. Aromas of rum raisins and dark chocolate ensure a contrasting bitter finish. The Ron Esclavo Core Range consists of four expressions, each with their own fascinating taste properties. The rum is distilled by Alcoholes Finos Dominicanos, who only use their own sugar cane and thus ensure that only pure Dominican sugar cane is used. Ron Esclavo XO Cask is a premium rum made from fresh sugar cane juice and molasses. In the tropical climate of the Dominican Republic, this rum matures for twelve to fifteen years in American and French oak barrels.
