This French sea salt is flavored with basil, marjoram, rosemary and thyme. Salt production in the salt pans of southern Brittany has a long tradition. This coarse sea salt from Noirmoutier, is hand-harvested and processed without any additives. The salt crystals are compact and slightly gray due to the inclusion of suspended matter (algae and clay) during crystallization. The sea salt also called Sel Gris has a high residual moisture and a spicy taste and can be used for the preparation of all dishes.
