The longest known pepper in Europe. It is also called Bengal pepper. This red long pepper is reminiscent of bitter chocolate and tonka bean, yet has a strong fruity taste. Simply steep the whole peppers in a sauce or in a stew. Roughly ground, these are excellent for use in poultry, such as duck or pheasant, and in game dishes. Also great for desserts with red fruits.
