From the classic Amaron vines Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara, which are dried for around 90 days before vinification and lose around 30% of their water content. Even for a complex wine like Amarone, it should above all be drinkable. Ripe, concentrated fruit, a sweet almond note and a long, chocolaty finish. The Amarone from Santa Sofia is one of the best-rated wines in international wine guides. Current vintage 2018.
