1985 Château Léoville-Barton, 2.Cru Classe Bordeaux, red, 95 PP

This 2nd Cru Classe from St Julien was at the time of the show as the best Leoville-Barton since 1959. The bouquet is complex, balanced and intense, full of sweet, very ripe currant fruit, cedar, spices and dried herbs. A moderate wine with unusual balance, beautiful sustainability and mild tannins in velvety finish. A prime example of an elegant, classy Bordeaux. 95 Parker points. All bottles in perfect condition, fill levels: base of neck. In rare we can not afford a replacement for defective bottles in accordance with international practices. Only a few bottles available.
