    Domenica and Beppe Bertolusso Montanaro, the founder of the company, started in 1968, their experience in the Trüffelwel and thus to market the fresh truffles from the Piedmont region.
    During that time the restaurant was Da Beppe, in the heart of ORistorante since Beppef Alba, considered landmark of truffle and mushroom lovers and the Michelin. Tartuflanghe was born in 1980 to explore Beppes experience and creativity, which was built by a prestigious formative experience: He was a chief Soucier on cruise ships from 1958 to 1966, teacher in the Culinary Institute, chef at the best restaurants of Piedmontese cuisine and then owner the famous restaurant. Its name comes from an intuition of Domenica: She joined the Italian word for truffle with the name of the source area of this precious tuber, the Langhe region near.

Thanks to the factory expansion work, which lasted almost two years, the company has the surface which is intended for the production and storage, duplicated and created new spaces as a showroom and the new tasting room with professional kitchen. Over 40 million chocolates are produced each year for the brand Tartuflanghe and for many private brands.
    In recent years, Stefania and Paolo have joined their parents in the management of the company and have inherited the experience of Domenica and Beppe and excited with new ideas for the prestigious family tradition.
    For many years the company proud owner of Eccellenza Artigiana (Artisan Excellence title), which was awarded by the Piedmont Region for their thirty years of experience in the culinary world.
