The pouring needle for fine wines is thinner than our standard pouring needle and is specially designed for older bottles in your collection, the cork of which may be brittle. The thinner needle is gentler on the cork. Due to its smaller diameter, the wine flows more slowly than through the standard pouring needle, but it is worth the patience! All Coravin dispensing needles are made of stainless steel and are Teflon ? coated. This makes them particularly durable, so you can serve hundreds of glasses with them.
