This medium-fruity oil from Gentile di Chieti, Cucco, Leccino, Olivastra, Crognalegno, and Dritta is pressed between mid-October and the end of November. Good reasons: Field Blend from a monastery garden. Harmonious. Ideal everyday oil. The oil comes from the groves of the former Benedictine monastery of San Giovanni in Venere on the Adriatic coast. Indigenous varieties of the region characterize its aroma with notes of green grass, ripe almond, and green apple. On the palate, it has a pleasantly smooth, yet not heavy, finish. It is equally suitable for cold and hot dishes.
