The company began in 1967 as a family business producing artisan cookies and traditional Catalan Christmas products. Afterwards, in the 1970s, Sosa added ingredients for ice cream to its product range. In the 1980s, this was expanded into an exquisite product line for ice cream production and Sosa grew steadily.
