    From the beginning, our chocolate journey has been characterized by innovation. In 1970, Rudolf Läderach Jr. invented a new manufacturing process for chocolate truffles that improved flavor and texture. Since then we have composed countless recipes that combine classic notes with modern demands on taste and ingredients.
    Chocolatier Rudolf Läderach Jr. founds Confiserie Läderach AG in Glarus, at that time a small village in Switzerland, with the idea of running a small confectionery shop selling sweet gifts.
    1970 Rudolf Läderach jun. invents and patents. the revolutionary process for the production of thin-walled hollow truffle balls, which significantly simplifies the professional truffle production and improves the quality.
    In 1994, Rudolf Läderach hands over the company to his son Jürg Läderach. Jürg is a visionary entrepreneur whose main goal is to create unique chocolate creations for people. 2012 is the opening of our own chocolate factory in Bilten, which enables management and control of the entire production and value chain from the cocoa bean to the end product.
    Now with locations worldwide, the chocolaterie is managed by the third generation.
