    From the beginning, our chocolate journey has been one of innovation. In 1970, Rudolf Laderach Jr. invented a new manufacturing process for chocolate truffles that improved the taste and texture. Since then, we have composed countless recipes that combine classic notes with modern demands on taste and ingredients.
    Chocolatier Rudolf Laderach Jr. founded Confiserie Laderach AG in Glarus, then a small village in Switzerland, with the idea of running a small confectionery making sweet gifts.
    In 1970 Rudolf Laderach Jr. invented and patented the revolutionary process for producing thin-walled hollow truffle spheres, which significantly simplifies and improves the quality of professional truffle production.
    In 1994, Rudolf Laderach handed the company over to his son Jurg Laderach. Jurg is a visionary entrepreneur whose main goal is to create unique chocolate creation for people. In 2012 the company`s own chocolate factory opened in Bilten, which enabled management and control of the entire production and value chain from the cocoa bean to the end product.
    Now with locations worldwide, the chocolaterie is run by the third generation.
