The CHROMA JAPANCHEF is an exceptionally sharp, HACCP-compliant kitchen knife. This kitchen tool is made without any unnecessary frills - except for high-quality blade steel, ice-hardened to 58 HRC, and expertly ground. The knives feature a Japanese blade geometry, specifically a V-shaped grind, which makes them incredibly sharp. The bolster is cut in the traditional Japanese style, allowing the blade to be used even at the end. The handle is made of high-quality plastic, and three rivets securely fasten the tang and handle. The edge retains its sharpness exceptionally well and can be easily and quickly resharpened, for example, with the CHROMA ST-1800 240/1000 grit whetstone.
