German rock salt, salt for salt mills, 1,5-3,2mm, natural

The rock salt comes from one of the oldest salt domes in Germany. It was formed more than 200 million years ago when the Zechstein Sea dried up and is stored, protected from environmental influences, at a depth of 400-750m underground. The rock salt is mined, gently ground in traditional mills and carefully sieved. Recognized institutes monitor the quality. This coarse-grained rock salt is particularly suitable for use in salt mills.
