The penne rigate comes from the Campania region. This format belongs to the family of diagonally cut short formats. The penne rigate are grooved, have a diameter of approx. 8.0 mm, are approx. 39 mm long and between 1.22 and 1.28 mm thick. The penne rigate taste particularly good with meat ragout or with vegetable sauces such as pepperoni, zucchini and aubergine. But they are also ideal for oven dishes.
