Fedelini pasta originates from Genoa, the Naples area, and the Ciociara region. They have a round, oblong shape and are between 1.37 and 1.47 mm thick. They taste particularly delicious when simply enhanced with ingredients such as fresh butter and cheese, or melted butter, cheese, and sage. Egg sauces or fresh tomatoes are also excellent choices for this pasta shape, and it can even be served as a garnish in light broths. Furthermore, this pasta shape is frequently used in oven-baked dishes, especially in the Naples area.
