2021 Orange White Wine, dry, 13% vol., Bedoba

BEDOBA Orange is a Georgian wine made from the unique Rkatsiteli and Kisi grape varieties. The Rkatsiteli comes from 25-year-old vines growing in deep, black slate soil, giving the wine a distinctive personality and concentration. The Kisi, from younger vineyards on limestone soils, benefits from a cooler microclimate. The wine is fermented and aged partly in qvevri amphorae and partly in 225-liter oak barrels. Bedoba captivates with aromas of dried apricot, honey, orange peel, wild herbs, and a hint of tannins. Its complex texture is truly enthralling.
