Desietra caviar comes from the Fulda aquaculture facility of Desietra GmbH. Here, the Russian Osietra sturgeon (Acipenser gueldenstaedtii) is farmed without the use of chemical or pharmaceutical additives or hormones. Caviar production takes place every two weeks, ensuring absolutely fresh caviar of consistently top quality year-round. Desietra Osietra caviar is salted using a gentle process (Malossol) and is offered without any preservatives or additives. It is borax-free and therefore not as acidic as wild sturgeon caviar. With its typical nutty flavor, it can easily compete with top Osietra quality (wild sturgeon).
