To avoid wasting surplus Brie, white Brie was simply aged longer. This resulted in a blackened Brie, which was once considered inferior. Today, it`s a cheese for cheese lovers and lovers of authentic specialties. Our Brie Noir is aged for approximately 8 months. It`s an expressive cheese with a dark cheese paste. Intensely flavorful and unique. It`s perfect as an aperitif or grated over dishes like Parmesan.
