With Kaiso Seaweed Mix you can prepare salads or garnish hot and cold dishes. The mixture is made up of 6 different algae: giant leaf tang, giant stem tang, belted tang, white tang, green tang and red tang. It contains hardly any calories, no cholesterol and is rich in minerals and fiber. The dried algae are soaked in cold water for 5 minutes and can then be used immediately. The volume increases tenfold through soaking. The salad can be dressed with soy sauce or goma dressing and traditionally served as a sushi starter before sushi. The composition may vary from the item photo.

Dried seaweed salad. Wakame (Undaria pinnatifida), Kukiwakame (Undaria pinnatifida), Kombu (Laminaria), Tsunomataaka (Chondrus crispus), Tsunomataao (Chondrus crispus), Suginorishiro (Gigatina teedii). Warning: Naturally rich in iodine. Excessive intake of iodine can lead to thyroid dysfunction. The German Nutrition Society therefore recommends an average daily intake of no more than 0.2 mg of iodine. Maximum daily consumption is therefore approx. 1 g = 1 tbsp dried algae. Preparation instructions: Soak in cold water for 5-10 minutes, then drain. Do not use soaking water for further processing! Store in a cool, dry place and protected from sunlight.
