Bulgur, light - peeled and steamed wheat groats, coarse

For this light bulgur, wheat was first peeled and steamed. After drying using a special process, it was chopped up. Bulgur is often used in Middle Eastern cuisine for vegetarian dishes such as tabbouleh. It is rich in nutritional values and is ideal for salads and soups. The taste of bulgur is reminiscent of hazelnuts. The cooking time is approximately 12 minutes.
