

Chili peppers - anchos, whole, dried
Anchos are dried red poblanos (chilli peppers) and are used in sauces. They are also used in the traditional Mexican chocolate sauce Mole Poblano. The name Poblano means something like Pueblo, a city in Mexico. Another little tip: If you fry the dried pods first, the aroma will be more pronounced.
