This aromatic oil (extra virgin sesame oil, unroasted) is refined with Japanese spring onions (Negi) and ginger. The subtle and fine aromas can be used selectively for tartar and carpaccio, fine fish dishes and poultry. Ideal mixed with shoyu as a tare (dip) for gyoza and other dumplings. Over steamed fish as a flavoring oil and other Chinese dishes. Yamada Sesame Oil Manufacturing Company was founded in 1934 by Yukata Yamada in Kyoto and has been family-owned ever since. The products are carefully hand-picked and obtained using traditional methods and only by pressing.
