2021 Chardonnay R, dry, 13% vol., vine wood, organic

DE-OKO-003 The grapes were hand-picked, destemmed, mashed and gently juiced after a 24-hour maceration period. After pre-clarification by means of natural sedimentation, fermentation took place in predominantly new barriques made of French and Palatinate oak. After 9 months of storage and maturation in the barrel on the full yeast, the wine was racked and bottled in August 2018. It is a REBHOLZ top wine with great development potential, which, like all great Chardonnays, will reach its perfect drinking maturity in a few years.
