Available from the beginning of October. This typical vegetable dish from the Sicilian port city of Catania is slightly sweet and sour thanks to the addition of sugar and vinegar. The traditional recipe with eggplant, tomato sugo, capers, olives, carrots and a harmonious Cutrera olive oil tastes great as a cold antipasto in summer, also very good on a warm bruschetta and is an aromatic, warm companion to grilled fish and meat.
