Available in early October. Turmeric is a rootstock that, when dried and powdered, gives curries their intense yellow color. The taste is earthy with a slight bitterness. It tastes particularly good with vegetables and even adds depth to zucchini. The earthy aroma goes particularly well with legumes, winter vegetables and rice.
