2011 La Parrazal, dry, 14.5% vol., Comte de Thun

The cuvee consists of 60% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Syrah and was aged in used barriques for two years. The 2011 vintage is characterized by wonderful dark aromas. The bouquet is racy, rich in fruit aromas such as sour cherry, fresh figs, blackcurrants, raspberries, sweet spice and tobacco. The aromas appear fleshy on the palate and prolong a melting finish. In the finish it delights with its youthfulness and liveliness. A promising vintage.
