2010 La Parrazal, dry, 13.5% vol., Comte de Thun

The cuvee consists of 60% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Syrah and was aged in used barriques for three years. An expressive combination of the base wines from younger vines from the Comte de Thun crus. La Parrazal perfectly reflects the characteristic features of the three grape varieties and the unique terroir. Its scent is strongly influenced by Syrah, while the palate shows Merlot and Cabernet with their fruity expression of red fruits and cassis. The bouquet is completed by silky tannins and an herbal freshness.
