Billy Walker once again had the opportunity to demonstrate his exceptional flair for casks. The living legend sensitively selected and combined puncheons, barriques, and pipes to create a new GlenAllachie whisky cuvee. Bottled exclusively for the German market, The GlenAllachie 2012/2023 initially matured in American white oak casks. For added depth and complexity, Billy Walker selected three further cask types, each with its own distinct character. The sweetness of Pedro Ximenez sherry puncheons blends seamlessly with the delicate, floral aromas of Moscatel wine barriques and the dark fruit and nutty notes of ruby port pipes. The result: a sumptuous single malt cuvee with aromas ranging from caramel sauce and plum jam to orchard fruits. Distilled in 2012, bottled in 2023, matured in American Oak Barrels, Pedro Ximenez (PX) Sherry Puncheons, Moscatel Wine Barriques and Ruby Port Pipes.
