Available from mid/late February. The little sister of the larger Colomba classica, this cake comes in a practical shopping bag, ideal for taking on the go. Made from a light yeast dough, garnished with sugar, hazelnut glaze, and almonds. Candied orange peel flavors the dough and adds a pleasant crunch. The dough is made with good butter, fresh eggs and egg yolks, yeast, and milk.
