 
        Amaranth puffed, ORGANIC
DE-ÖKO-001 Amaranth is not one of the types of grain, but are fine grains of a foxtail plant. The main growing area is southern Germany. Amaranth contains a lot of high-quality protein, iron and calcium. The flour from amaranth grains makes pastries moister and sweeter; it is used for biscuits, pancakes or waffles. It is an excellent addition to grains, legumes, nuts and seeds; contains twice as much iron and four times as much calcium as durum wheat. Puffed, it is wonderful in pastries and mueslis, as well as breading.
