Fragrance: complex with a clear potstill character. Ground pepper and a mix of fermented, exotic fruits with light notes of almonds and lacquer. Taste: Powerful and intense, with notes of petrol and a very long, dry finish. Peppery aromas can also be found in the taste. SBS Fiji 2009 is a single barrel bottling with only 253 bottles. The rum is based on molasses and was produced in the pot still of the South Pacific distillery in 2009. In February 2020 the rum was bottled at a cask strength of 57.0% vol.
