Plantation chocolate Riachuelo 70% bitter, Michel Cluizel (12159)
The Riachuelo plantation in the Bahia region of Brazil benefits from a lush environment amidst the Atlantic rainforest, not far from the ocean. The cacao trees are cultivated with respect for the surrounding flora and fauna, which includes numerous exotic trees such as the Manilkara species and the Pau D`Arco tree. Tasting notes: roasted cacao, dried fruit, red currant, and an aftertaste of fruity, sweet bell pepper and raw cacao.
