Mirin is a sweetened rice wine. It is used for seasoning sushi rice and for cooking to flavor cooked dishes. In addition to soy sauce and dashi (fish stock), mirin is one of the most important flavors in Japanese cuisine. Contains 12% vol. Alcohol.
