Raz el Hanout (literally: head of the shop) used to be a top priority in Morocco, because up to 30 different spices had to be coordinated. The North African Cous-Cous spice always contains sweet, spicy and bitter notes. The taste of this Raz el Hanout blend is slightly sweet. In addition to the typical use for couscous or tagine preparations, the aromatic seasoning goes well with meat and fish dishes or stews.
