The resulting salt crystals are then blended with a marine mineral extract. This yields a gourmet salt with only 84% sodium chloride - the remaining 16% consists of 80 elements and trace elements found in seawater. The white Palm Island Pacific Salt is known for its shimmering crystals with a fantastic texture and a distinctive sweet finish.
