Hickory smoked salt is salt with the aroma of smoldered hickory wood chips. It is very suitable for making barbecue sauce. The pleasantly spicy smoky taste is also often used for meat on the electric grill to obtain the typical charcoal aroma. Further salting is therefore unnecessary.
