

Cocoa butter, block
Cocoa butter is the fat pressed from the ground cocoa beans. It is obtained at temperatures between 70°C and 90°C. When liquid, the finished cocoa butter is light golden yellow and clear. It is then hardened and sold as a block. This 100% pure cocoa butter has a mildly aromatic smell and a slightly cooling taste. They are manufactured completely without the use of additives, auxiliary substances or preservatives. It is used for the production of chocolate, melted chocolate and couverture.
