This rich tomato sauce is truly unique. Also made almost 20% feta cheese combined with sun kissed tomatoes...very flavorful and creamy. Tomatoes and feta are a classic Greek combination. Goes great with: saganaki (e.g. prawns in the oven), broad beans, pasta, omelets, bruschetta, on bread and especially delicious with tagliatelle. Feta cheese is the national cheese of Greece and has been eaten since Byzantine times. What many do not know: Feta has a PDO (Geographically Protected Designation of Origin). Only cheese made from sheep`s and/or goat`s milk and made in Greece can call itself Feta. Without further additives and without preservatives. Suitable for vegetarians. May contain traces of nuts. After opening, it can be kept refrigerated for at least 8 days.
