The traditional olive oil is extracted from a mixture of Frantoio, Moraloio, Lecciono, Pendolino and Gentile olives. They are harvested from October to December in the Tuscany region and adjacent areas. The green-colored oil with golden reflections smells fruity-delicate and tastes full bodied-harmonious with notes of ripe fruit. The olive grove is located near Florence in Reggello. In addition to using its own olives, the oil estate buys high quality from the neighboring olive growers. In doing so, Piero Gonnelli pays attention to the top quality of the hand-picked or machine-harvested olives, to short paths from the harvest to the oil mill and to careful processing in the olive mill.
