Oliva Verde is the product of the first cold pressing of hand-picked olives. It has not been filtered or subjected to any additional treatment. Each of these oils is single-varietal, meaning only a single, the finest olive variety from the respective region is used. Characteristic of such oils is their strong aroma and fruity freshness. This Oliva Verde is made from 100% Koroneiki olives and comes from the Peloponnese (Greece). It has a velvety golden-green color and a pleasantly fruity, delicately spicy artichoke flavor with a bitter aftertaste. It is ideal for pesto and for preserving delicacies, as well as for refining cooked vegetable soups for vinaigrette or tomato mozzarella.
